Position

• Cloudbeds is looking to recruit a full-time, remote, Senior QA Engineer who appreciates the product experience.
• You will be brought on as a QA engineer for our product, which currently serves thousands of hotels and hostels around the world.
• Working under our product lead, you will need to implement all testing methodologies and build the process as well as managing the QA team.
• The main goal will be decreasing the time to development and increasing the product quality and stability.

Responsibilities

• Build and long time supporting of the testing process.
• Perform manual and automation testing.
• Create/update/review product documentation.
• Create/update/review test documentation (Test Case, Check Lists etc).
• Collaborate with international team members.
• Bug fix verification.
• Actively contribute and drive the testing process, knowledge, quality and best practices.

Tasks

• Create test cases and checklists for testing of exists and the new functionality. Regression testing to detect how bug fixing or new functionality can act with other functions in the system.
• Create and update list of features.
• Create and update charts\tables with relationships of features.
• Make test-plan (what and how to test; which kinds of testing has to be applied to each feature).
• Create a prioritized list of test cases for existing and new functionality, which has to be implemented first.
• Make tasks for creating \ updating auto tests (which tests need to create or update as a result of implementing \ changing current features).
• Diagnosis and localization of the errors in the cooperation with developers and the supports.
• Examination / testing of demands (completeness, non-ambiguity, verifiability, consistency).

Requirements

• 2+ years of QA experience in testing of web-applications.
• Excellent knowledge of web software testing methodologies and approaches.
• Experience with testing automation tools such Selenium and/or Codeception etc.
• Experience in Web Based Software Requirements Specification reviewing.
• Experience in automation testing with PHP (PHPUnit).
• Experience in CI (Jenkins)
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Good level of English.
• Attention to details and analytical thinking.

Pluses

• Experience in ALM Software automation.
• Version management system knowledge (GIT).
• Experience with some PHP frameworks.
• Experience in js/css.
• Experience with some JS frameworks.
• Experience in SQL (MySQL) .
• REST API testing experience.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Basic Linux OS knowledge and experience with remote connection tools (that use SSH and SCP protocols).
