Role Summary/Purpose:
Within the framework of Bashneft / Ufa project applied to an installation of water treatment in the company, the Site Manager is in charge of all operations in order to ensure that the terms and conditions of the Long Term Service Contract are respected at all times and the guaranteed performances, the profitability and the health, safety and environmental goals are achieved.
Scope & responsibilities:
- Main contact with the customer, maintains appropriate relationship and communication with the customer, ensure correct application of the contractual agreements while representing Suez’ interests;
- Is responsible for the contract fulfillment to the customer and ensures it is respected;
- Represents the company towards all the concerned local stakeholders (suppliers and contractors, regulatory, customer, etc.);
- Defines and sets up the organization and the means needed for the contract fulfillment. In this context, ensures the technical and economic objectives are met;
- Ensures the development of activities on the perimeter he/she is responsible of;
- Leads the teams to guarantee their professionalism while maintaining team spirit and motivation;
- Checks whether the facility works properly and ensures the constant optimization of processes and equipment. Together with the team and the customer, identifies continuous improvement initiatives;
- Ensures compliance and implementation of QHSE and ethics rules and demonstrated exemplary in this regard;
- Supports setting up O&M procedures, related templates and structure in collaboration with the team and external Suez resources;
- In charge of the operational metrics related to the contract, including Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality of service, financial and plant performance related parameters. Ensure timely completion of weekly and monthly reporting.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Engineering degree from an accredited college or university with experience in water treatment technologies is a must;
- Large experience in leading operational teams;
- Experience with commissioning and start-up of new installation, with start-up of new activities;
- People management experience. Strong influencing and team building skills, ability to work in a matrix organization;
- Remote reporting of contract KPI’s;
- Contract management: implementation and negotiation;
- Fluent in Russian and English – reading and writing;
- Comfortable and proficient communication skills, clear and concise communicator;
- Willing to locate to Ufa on a long term basis;
- Valid driving license;
- Service mentality: customer and EH&S are number one;
- Having a strong personal culture around ethics and compliance;
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems;
- Experience on SUEZ (GEWPT) equipment or industry related equipment preferable;
- Decisive, self-motivated and able to lead with little guidance.
