Dear Applicants! "Central Asian Barometer" is looking for a GRANT WORKING SPECIALIST
We are looking for a grant specialist (full-time, long-term) for our team.
We are a non-governmental, independent institute for applied social research. We study public opinion in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asian countries.
Our offer: work with sense of meaning, non-trivial tasks, a team of cool and enthusiastic people, support and assistance in the first stages of work.
Key tasks of the specialist's work:
- Finding and exploring opportunities for grants and other funding for research;
- Preparation of grant applications;
- Description of the organization's projects;
- Calculation of budgets required for project implementation;
- Preparation of reports on grants;
- Development of new ideas and sources of fundraising;
- Negotiating and communicating with donors and sponsors.
Requirements:
- We are looking for a person with a broad outlook;
- Impeccable oral and written Russian, high level of English proficiency (writing application texts, oral and written communications at a fluent level);
- Productive - having achievements in this activity, result-oriented;
- Possessing initiative, desire to seek and offer opportunities for obtaining funding;
- With a high level of self-organization - able to independently plan tasks and time;
- Excellent communication skills, persuasion and networking skills;
- Sociological education is an advantage;
- Experience in fundraising for nongovernmental organizations is an asset;
- Having skills in financial calculations is an advantage.
Working conditions:
- Full employment with a work schedule from 9:00 to 18:00;
- 5 days a week: from Monday to Friday;
- 2 months - paid probationary period and assistance in the early stages of work;
- Official employment;
- Work in a modern comfortable office and in a pleasant working atmosphere;
- Competitive salary level + bonuses for achieving KPI and contribution to the development of the organization.
