Job description:-
Tribe tech lead acts as a co-head of the tribe (Regarding IT related tasks), responsible for assisting in managing the tribe's business goals, by managing and allocating IT resources (“how”). Supports the Tribe Lead in technical / IT related delivery topics and co-responsible for the tribe. Responsible for system uptime and system maintenance in case of fully allocated systems (partially).
Managing the process
- Set vision for tribe together with the Tribe Lead and potentially other leaders, develop IT delivery for business plans and ensure vision is operationalized by POs and IT CLs of each squad
- Define and enforce quality standards (non-functional requirements)
- Interact with CoEs (e.g., IT Architects) to understand the key properties and changes to technology infrastructure and determine the best way to work with technology restrictions

Planning and prioritizing the work
- Shape the tribe backlog: define and prioritize IT-related epics and subtasks for the tribe
- Synchronize IT developments with Product Owners in squads
- Set goals during release planning
- Design and maintain the IT development and system maintenance roadmap

Contributing to personnel management and development
- Lead the formulation of the tribe and squad IT objectives
- Create an atmosphere of confidence and trust in the tribe and motivate to fulfill tribe's tasks
- Make proposals on the tribe's composition and headcount regarding IT Dev and Ops
- Responsible for building IT capacity and competency in product teams
- Manage and plan IT budget for product teams
